Calibrated for
Contemporary Disputes.

D-CoP — Dispute, Counsel & Policy — is a specialist legal practice rooted in over three decades of institutional history. What began as Ravi Chawla & Co. in 1989 has evolved into a focused, commercially-minded firm built for the complexity of modern disputes.

We do not pursue breadth for its own sake. Our practice is deliberately concentrated: high-value litigation, cross-border arbitration, commercial contract strategy, and the regulatory matters that sit at the intersection of law and policy.

Our counsel is direct, our strategy is measured, and our client engagements are built on trust accumulated across sectors and jurisdictions.

D-CoP — Philosophy
1989
Established
Our Origin
The firm was founded by Mr. Ravi Chawla in 1989 as Ravi Chawla & Co. — a full-service legal practice built on integrity, rigour, and a broad command of commercial, civil, and regulatory law.
Over three decades of continuous practice, the firm earned its reputation through the discipline of its work and the depth of its client relationships. That institutional foundation — the values, the methodology, the exacting standards — is what D-CoP inherits and carries forward. The name has evolved. The commitment has not.
